中國畫的寧靜空靈和西洋畫意的大膽濃郁，構成了水墨滄海的基調(diào)。作為大自然之美和東方美學思想結(jié)合的產(chǎn)物，通過景物的變形與對比，尤其是水墨化的藝術處理，將“海納百川有容乃大”的胸襟，通過黑與白、陰與陽相和、相合的過程，在“和”中融合了一切對立的色彩，并借助神秘、深沉、清秀的黑白之美，展現(xiàn)一個寧靜、純粹的精神世界。水墨滄海的精神，也就是中國文人藝術表現(xiàn)的“天人合一”精神——人的精神與無限的自然渾然融化，既順著自然的法則“道”，沉落在宇宙無限飄渺的滄海中，感受宇宙深處無形無色的虛空。同時，影像間的挪用、變形與融合，改變了簡單的自然生態(tài)，讓萬象皆從空虛中來，向空虛中去，展現(xiàn)生生不已的創(chuàng)造力。水墨滄海的終極意境，正是宇宙中靈氣的往來和搏動的生命節(jié)奏。

《水墨滄海》，則是更接近于魔幻色彩的景觀實驗。我們面對的山水，無不處于一種哲學化的悖論之中，既清晰又混沌，既實在又虛無。這也是我試圖從這樣不同的維度領略山水間迷人魅力的理由。因為這個世界，正是在悖論中生長的，通過寬畫幅山水圖卷，將山水景觀重構并置，其實也展現(xiàn)了彷徨不定的思緒，從而錯落成山水間的奇思怪想，將唯美的世界剝離開來，注入了崇高的力量，又留下了疑惑的懸念。

其實，無論是拍攝風景還是記錄自然，通過瞬間留下的生命痕跡才是攝影的終極價值所在。面對時間的長河，曝光1秒還是1/1000秒，也許并沒有什么質(zhì)的區(qū)別。重要的是在這些時間的流逝過程中，你通過快門得到了什么樣的生命感悟。攝影人對自然的提煉僅僅是一種手段，不是為了重構而重構，而是希望在重構的后面孕育更豐富的“秘密”。我們應當承認，“唯美”可以是一種境界，一種難以達到的境界。然而無論從哪一個角度理解攝影，攝影本質(zhì)的命脈乃至最高級的形態(tài)恰恰不是“唯美”，而是隱藏在“美”后面的“真”，一種心靈體驗的真實。所以，這一組水墨山水，看似傳統(tǒng)中國畫的水墨意境，而實際上卻具有魔幻的心靈真實。

這樣的魔幻源之于對景物精確的描繪，但是卻悖論般地表現(xiàn)出對時空因素迥然不同的并置所帶來的奇異效果，從而將神秘的氣氛融入日常的主題。畫面通過繁多的變奏和固執(zhí)的重復，試圖找到既嚴謹又充滿幻想、既理性又不乏任性、既堅固無比又晶瑩通透的視覺形成。于是，《水墨滄海》已經(jīng)儼然成為構成波瀾壯闊的藝術之海。

The serene and ethereal spirit of traditional Chinese painting, blended with the bold and rich tonal expressiveness of Western fine art, defines the artistic keynote of the series Ink Wash Sea.

As an integration of natural beauty and Eastern aesthetic philosophy, the works adopt morphological transformation and contrast of scenes — especially ink-wash stylization. They embody the mind of the ancient maxim “The sea accepts all rivers; greatness lies in tolerance”. Through the interplay and harmony of black and white, yin and yang, all contrasting hues are reconciled in a state of cosmic balance. Leveraging the mysterious, profound and elegant beauty of monochrome imagery, the series unfolds a tranquil and pure spiritual realm.

The soul of Ink Wash Sea embodies the core pursuit of Chinese literati art: the unity of humanity and nature. The human spirit merges seamlessly with the boundless natural world, aligning with the eternal law of the Dao. Drifting amid the misty, vast sea of the universe, one perceives the formless, colorless void hidden in the depth of cosmic existence.

Meanwhile, appropriation, distortion and fusion across photographic imagery transcend plain natural representation. All cosmic phenomena emerge from emptiness and return to emptiness, revealing an endless, regenerative creative vitality. The ultimate artistic conception of Ink Wash Sea lies in the flow of cosmic spiritual energy and the pulsating rhythm of all living things.

Ink Wash Sea is further a landscape experiment imbued with magical realism. The mountains and waters we behold dwell in a philosophical paradox: clear yet chaotic, tangible yet intangible. This is precisely why I seek to appreciate the mesmerizing charm of landscape from multi-dimensional perspectives. The world itself grows and evolves within paradox.

Through wide-format landscape scrolls that reconstruct and juxtapose natural scenes, the works project wandering and contemplative thoughts, unfolding imaginative reveries amid mountains and rivers. They break away from pure aestheticism, infusing the imagery with sublime power while lingering in thought-provoking ambiguity.

Whether capturing scenery or documenting nature, the ultimate value of photography lies in preserving the traces of life within fleeting moments. Facing the passage of time, there is no essential difference between an exposure of one second and one thousandth of a second. What matters is the insight into life gained through the shutter amid the flow of time.

A photographer’s refinement of nature is merely a means, not reconstruction for its own sake. It aims to nurture deeper, hidden truths behind visual re-creation. Admittedly, aesthetic perfection is a lofty and attainable state. Yet from any perspective, the essence and highest form of photography reside not in mere aestheticism, but in the truth behind beauty — the authentic inner experience of the soul.

This ink-wash landscape series appears to carry the artistic conception of traditional Chinese painting, yet it ultimately conveys a magical, inner truth of the mind.

Such magical charm originates from precise depiction of natural subjects, yet paradoxically generates extraordinary visual impact through the juxtaposition of disjointed time and space, infusing everyday themes with an air of mystery. Through varied variations and deliberate repetitions, the compositions pursue a visual language that is both rigorous and imaginative, rational and unrestrained, solid yet crystal translucent. In this way, Ink Wash Sea has evolved into a magnificent, surging ocean of art in its own right.
